Each user is verified upon signing up to use the Itemo app, and this helps to ensure everyone in our community is who they say they are.
Trusted Ratings System
Our community-powered rating system gives you insight into who you're renting from or lending to. Both owners and borrowers receive ratings and reviews after each transaction, building a history of trust.
Secure Payments
All transactions are processed through our secure partner payment system Stripe. The payment is held until the item handover is confirmed via the collection checklist providing protection for everyone involved.

If you ever experience a problem, our dedicated support team is here to help. Report any issues through the app or website, and we'll work quickly to resolve them.
How to Report a Problem:
- Go to any item or user profile
- Select "Report a problem"
- Provide as much detail as possible
- The Itemo team will respond within 24 hours
Safety Tips
- Always meet in a public place for item handovers when possible
- Check the item thoroughly before accepting it
- Complete collection and return checklists accurately, including the item photo feature
- Communicate clearly about expectations and item condition
- Trust your instincts - if something doesn't feel right, don't proceed
